Any Given Day

A lot of people forget or don’t know the massive issue of poverty around the world. Recent figures show that an estimated 2.4 billion people live in poverty (less than $2 a day) around the world, that’s roughly 30% of the world’s population. These people live in unimaginable condition, with the majority of these in developing countries. In Australia, 2.3 million people live in poverty, a much less 13% and any given night, 1 in 200 people are homeless (half a percent)

The aim of ‘Any Given Day’ is not to fix poverty or homelessness, but instead to shed light on this idea that we tend to take life for granted. A lot of people forget how lucky we actually are living in a first world country with access to all essentials and non-essentials.
